  • Guidelines for Growing Your Clones

IS IT HARD TO GROW CANNABIS? Growing cannabis isn’t hard at all but it helps with stable healthy genetics to ensure the best chance of success.

HOW IMPORTANT ARE GENETICS? Over 80% of good growing results are a result of starting with good genetics. Plants with poor genetics will grow slowly and with reduced yields.

CAN I PRODUCE CANNABIS FOR MY OWN MEDICAL PURPOSES? Yes

Just received your clones? Here's what to do next:

    Unboxing and Placement:

    • Start by opening all the boxes and carefully removing the plants from their packaging.
    • Examine each plant to determine its watering requirements.
    • Place your clones in a well-lit area with ample sunshine.

    Planting:

    • We recommend transplanting your plants into larger pots when they reach approximately 1 month old.
    • Opt for a container of at least 10 gallons in size, or consider planting them directly in the ground.

    Lighting:

    • To kickstart their growth, it's advisable to provide supplemental lighting.
    • Maintain an 18-hour light cycle, ensuring a gradual adjustment to the plant's environment.
    • Avoid exposing the plants to more than 18 hours of light, as this may stress them.
    • Similarly, refrain from subjecting them to less than an 18-hour light cycle, as it might trigger premature flowering.
    • It's best not to place your plants outside or without supplemental lighting sources until at least June 1, as daylight hours are still relatively short before that date.

    Watering:

    • We recommend watering your plants every 2-3 days.
    • To prevent over-watering, it's essential to observe the plant for signs that it's ready for watering.
    • Indicators may include drooping leaves and a lighter weight of the pot.

These guidelines will help ensure the healthy growth and development of your clones.

    Understanding Sativa and Indica:

What distinguishes Sativa from Indica in the world of cannabis? These two primary types of cannabis plants can blend to create hybrid strains, each offering distinct effects on the body and mind, resulting in a broad spectrum of medicinal advantages.

    Indica:

    • Smoking Indica bud produces a potent physical body high, often leading to a feeling of drowsiness or being "couch-locked."
    • Indica strains are renowned for inducing deep relaxation.
    • They are associated with a sweet or sour aroma, exemplified by strains like Kush and OG Kush.
    • Indicas are highly effective in addressing general anxiety, bodily pain, and sleep disorders.
    • They are a popular choice for individuals seeking relief from pain and are often consumed in the late evening or just before bedtime.

    Benefits of Indica:

    • Alleviates body pain
    • Relaxes muscles
    • Reduces spasms and seizures
    • Eases headaches and migraines
    • Relieves anxiety and stress

    Sativa:

    • Sativa strains tend to emit a grassy, earthy scent and deliver an uplifting, energetic, and "cerebral" high.
    • A Sativa high is characterized by enhanced creativity and heightened energy levels, making it suitable for daytime use.
    • Many artists tap into the creative potential of Sativa strains to spur innovation and artistic expression.

    Benefits of Sativa:

    • Promotes feelings of well-being and relaxation
    • Elevates mood and fosters cerebral thinking
    • Stimulates and invigorates
    • Enhances focus and creativity
    • Combats depression

Cannabis strains can fall anywhere along the spectrum from pure Sativa to pure Indica, with hybrid strains blending both types in various ratios (e.g., 30% Indica - 70% Sativa, 50% - 50%, 80% Indica - 20% Sativa). This diversity allows for the targeted treatment of specific health conditions, as the effects and benefits of each type cater to different needs.
